"Road Trip" is open at the Museum in Hickory, NC!
"Clean Start" a study from a clip from my son's documentary, "Scrambler"
My painting "Clean Start" is on exhibition at the Hickory Museum of Art in Hickory, NC. The exhibition is in conjunction with a car show and all the paintings relate to experiences of the road. Can't wait to see it!
My painting "Kidd in a Green Cap" is on exhibit during September for the Pastel Society of America's Annual Exhibition, in New York at the National Arts Club! If you live in or near New York, be sure to try to see the best in pastel in this national exhibition. I'll keep you posted if I win an award!
More soon, lots of new plans for the coming year. The cabin/office is almost finished, and we will be open to the public during Open Studios in Greenville, first weekend of November.
Then there is an exhibition at the Pickens County Museum, "Twelve Great Dames", an invitational exhibition of twelve awesome South Carolina area painters, of which I am one! Fun! I hope to show my more experimental paintings there. More news on that soon!
